Introducing - String Beans

String Beans are two human beans, Garbanzo (Roger Cuthbertson) and Chick Pea (Jo Schubert), who provide musical entertainment that is fun for the entire family. They play lively, toe tapping music featuring harmonic singing, guitar, mandolin, bouzouki, fretless claw hammer banjo, and fiddle. The musical styles span hundreds of years, thousands of miles, and the vast zaniness that has always bean. 

People of all ages, especially children, will enjoy hearing the band make up songs about people in the audience. Garbanzo and Chick Pea’s on-going challenge is: Give us your first name, and we will make up a song about beans and you. There are no put downs of kids. There’s just spontaneous fun that makes people feel good. There will be some beans talk to make people smile and music to make people feel like dancing and singing. There are free beans for all! You will want to say that you’ve used your bean, because you’ve bean there and heard String Beans. Even if you don’t care beans about beans, you'll love String Beans!
